Tonight in Las Vegas, your USC Trojans women's basketball program defeated the Arizona Wildcats 65-62 to advance to the Pac-12 Tournament Semifinals.

The No. 2 seed in the Pac-12 came into this game off a first-round bye, while the Wildcats defeated Washington Wednesday to advance to the quarterfinals.

USC got off to an early lead, outscoring Arizona 20-9 in the first quarter. However, the Wildcats fought back in the second quarter, narrowing the Trojans' lead to 30-25 at halftime.

Coming out of the half, the Wildcats kept things close, outscoring USC 19-18 in the third quarter. However, the Trojans would pull away in the fourth frame, starting out with a 7-0 run that gave them a 55-44 lead. From that point on, USC would not give up their lead again. Though the Wildcats would make things close in the end, it was never enough to pull off the upset.

Arizona scared USC for part of the game, but thankfully for the Trojans it never came as close to when Arizona and USC went to double overtime last week as the Wildcats outplayed the Trojans for much of the game. Instead, the Trojans were able to stay poised despite the Trojans' tough defense on them.

JuJu Watkins finished the game with 17 points, eight rebounds and three assists. Rayah Marshall once again was crucial for USC. Marshall added another double-double, with 15 points, 15 rebounds and two assists.

Now, USC will take on the winner of UCLA-Utah in the semifinals, for a shot at advancing to the Pac-12 Tournament Finals.
