USC and Cal Return From Locker Room After Trojans Awarded Weirdest Extra Kick Ever to End First Half

The game between USC and Cal keeps getting weirder.
In this story:

USC and Cal are ending their storied rivalry today, as the final matchup between these teams has not gone off without a hitch.

To start the bizarre game, kickoff was stopped after protestors were on the field, and refused to leave. Authorities stepped in to remove the protestors, as they were all arrested and led off the field in handcuffs.

To make matters worse, the final play of the half has now turned into chaos. Caleb Williams threw a pass to Lake McRee, which led to the final seconds of the half tick down. Despite time running out, Lincoln Riley and company talked to refs for a decent time.

It now appears that USC has been given one extra play. The clock counting down was apparently not accurate, and the Trojans will be allowed to kick a field goal.

Announcers had shown that McRee was tackled, leading to the clock ticking down to zero. However, it appears that might not be the case. He might have been tackled with fractions of a second.

The Trojans were able to practice the kick that they were being awarded, in what was the most bizarre ending to the first half of football ever.

The kick ended up being no good, making this entire ordeal very ridiculous.
