There were eight USC Trojans invited to participate in the 2024 NFL Scouting Combine, including quarterback Caleb Williams, wide receiver Brenden Rice, WR Tahj Washington, running back MarShawn Lloyd, offensive lineman Jarrett Kingston, defensive lineman Solomon Byrd, safety Calen Bullock and cornerback Christian Roland-Wallace, via the NFL.

USC is tied for the eighth among schools with the most players invited to the combine in 2024. Michigan is the leader among college football programs, with 18 Wolverines invited to the combine.

Assuming he attends, Caleb Williams will of course attract the most attention among Trojans at the combine — as quarterbacks tend to do — since he is expected to be one of the top quarterbacks off the board. The 2022 Heisman Trophy winner is coming off a season in which he threw for 3,633 yards, 30 touchdowns, and five interceptions.

Beyond Williams, the Trojans have two talented wide receivers in Washington and Rice. Washington averaged 18 yards per catch in his final season while recording 59 receptions for 1,062 yards and eight touchdowns. Washington's primary concern heading toward the draft will likely be his size, with Washington standing five-foot-ten, 175 lbs. Meanwhile, Rice was a touchdown machine for the Trojans, putting up 791 yards and 12 touchdowns on 45 receptions.

At running back, Lloyd averaged 7.1 yards per carry while recording 820 yards and nine touchdowns on 116 carries. One of his blockers, Kingston, spent six seasons in college and allowed four sacks in 2023.

On defense, three Trojans were invited to the combine. Bullock had two picks and seven pass breakups in 2023, Byrd tallied six sacks and forced fumbles, and Roland-Wallace had two picks and nine pass breakups. Even with the criticism for USC's defense in 2023, they still had some talented playmakers.

Overall, there are plenty of Trojans expected to represent USC at the combine as they get set for the 2024 NFL Draft. With strong performances, these eight prospects can improve their draft position.
