USC Football: Brenden Rice Signs With Major Agency Ahead Of NFL Draft
Departing USC star wide receiver Brenden Rice is heading to the NFL, and he's not going at it alone.
Rice reportedly has signed with sports and entertainment agency Family For Life, with agents Farren Benjamin and Chris Ellison.
Family For Life agency is a new-era sports and entertainment agency offering exclusive and premium services never before offered in the industry designed to create generational wealth for its clients.
Rice was a four-year college player, spending two seasons in Colorado and his last two with the USC Trojans. In his two seasons as a Trojan, Rice had 84 receptions for 1402 yards, 16 touchdowns, and an average of 16.7 yards per reception.
The 21-year-old wide receiver declared for the NFL Draft in early December and will look to follow in his father's footsteps. His father, the legendary NFL wide receiver Jerry Rice, won three Super Bowls-- all with the San Francisco 49ers-- and has recorded 22,895 yards and 197 receiving touchdowns, both of which still stand at NFL records.
According to NFL Draft Buzz, the Hall of Famer’s son is projected to be drafted in the third round and has an overall rank of 80 and a position rank of 17. The younger Rice came into his own in his senior season at USC alongside his superstar quarterback and potential number-one overall pick, Caleb Williams.
This is a massive move for Rice, and we wish him the best at the pro level.
