USC Football: Former Trojan Notches NFL All-Pro Honor
There is something special about the wide receivers that play for the USC Trojans. They appear to have wonderful careers at the school and head to the pro level and become even better.
That is certainly the case for former Trojan Amon-Ra St. Brown. Brown was selected in the fourth round by the Detroit Lions, and has proven himself to be one of the most versatile pass catchers in the NFL.
In his rookie year, he logged 912 yards and 10 TDs. Since then, he has only gotten better. His 2023 NFL campaign included a career-high 1,515 yards and 10 TDs. Strangely, he was not selected for the Pro Bowl. Instead, he has received a bigger honor.
Brown has been given the prestigious honor of making his first All-Pro team. All-Pros in the NFL are selected as the best in their given position.
Brown has made the cut with phenom wide receivers like Tyreek Hill of the Miami Dolphins and CeeDee Lamb of the Dallas Cowboys. Brown may have been snubbed at the Pro Bowl, but he is now part of an even more elite group.
Brown and the Lions are set for the playoffs, and they will face off against the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday. We fully expect to see Brown heavily used in the passing game.
