USC Football: How Fans Will Scout Colorado Ahead Of Game 5 Matchup
Next week, the USC Trojans will be facing off against the upstart Colorado Buffalos from Boulder in what is one of the most highly anticipated games of the season. Both teams have started out strong, which should make for a really fun game with potential College Football Playoff implications.
But before the two teams face off, the Trojans will take on the Arizona State Sun Devils, and Colorado will head up to Autzen Stadium for a date with the Oregon Ducks. The Trojans should be able to make quick work of Arizona State, but the Buffalos could find some trouble against Oregon.
Colorado has looked good through the first few weeks of the season, but this will be their first real test. They took down TCU, Nebraska, and Colorado State in the first three weeks, but Oregon is a different animal. Plus, having to play up in Eugene has its own set of problems for opposing teams.
Trojans fans should tune in to watch Colorado take on the Ducks this weekend so they can get a better idea about the Buffalos.
"If we want to learn more about Colorado, we have to learn more about the CU-Oregon game this coming Saturday."
Per Matt Zemek of Trojans Wire
Colorado remains somewhat of a mystery story for most college fans, as we don't know just how good they are. But if they can go on the road and knock off Oregon, things will get real.
Even if the Buffalos lose to Oregon, if they can keep things close, it will say a lot about what head coach Deion Sanders has built there.
USC will have their work cut out for them when they take on Colorado next week. Going on the road for any can be tricky, but this game will mean more.
Colorado is trying to establish itself as a powerhouse program in the sport, so taking down the Trojans at home would be a special moment for them. USC can't overlook anything, no matter what happens this weekend, and they will need to be ready to go.
Bucke up, Trojans fans. We'll have a good one going next Saturday.
