USC Football: How UCLA Coach Chip Kelly Is Prepping For Caleb Williams

The reigning Heisman is a nightmare for coaches.

As the annual USC-UCLA matchup is less than 48 hours away, Bruins head coach Chip Kelly was asked about their game-planning strategy against one of the best quarterbacks in college football history, Caleb Williams.

Here's some praise that Chip had for Caleb, per Mike Regalado of 247Sports.com

"He's probably as good as there is in the country... a truly special player... one for the ages."

Kelly didn't hold back in his compliments for Williams, implying that he's an all-time great at the position (at the collegiate level), and as such, he brings a serious of challenges for a highly-ranked Bruins defense.

In discussing his game plan for trying to deal with him, he kept it vague, but mentioned that the defensive line needs to "be disciplined in [their] rushing and get after him."

To that end, it's likely that the Bruins will send a lot of pressure. They already have the nation's top run defense, so USC will struggle to move the ball outside of through the air.

Expect a fair share of blitzes and possession football from the Bruins, as they try to keep it away from Caleb Williams, and put pressure on him when he has it.
