The USC Trojans could be losing their senior offensive analyst to the NFL. According to NBC's Peter King, he relieved the Pittsburgh Steelers are set to meet with USC's Kliff Kingsbury for their vacant offensive coordinator position.

“Right now, [Kingsbury] has talked to the Bears and he’s gonna talk to the Steelers.”

(per NBC's Peter King)

Kingsbury was last in the NFL as he was the head coach of the Arizona Cardinals for four seasons. The 42-year-old former head coach led the Cardinals to a 28-37-1 record during his time in Arizona, along with one playoff appearance.

Kingsbury is known for his offensive coaching prowess, and the numbers back it up. In his time at Texas Tech, specifically in 2015, he led the Red Raiders to the second total offense (579.5), passing offense (388.2), and scoring offense (a school record 45.1). That may have been a while ago, but he's also done great work with Cardinals Pro Bowler Kyler Murray. He helped lead Murray to the 2019 Offneisve Rookie of the Year and helped lead the Cardinals to a top-10 scoring and total offense in 2021.

The Steelers' offense was abysmal in 2023, and they need to shake things up on that side of the ball. Kingsbury would turn that offense around in no time.

The Steelers will also interview with Los Angeles Rams pass coordinator and quarterbacks coach Zac Robinson.
