USC Lands Commitment from Top 2026 QB Julian Lewis
The quarterback whisper does it again, Trojan fans. Your USC Trojans and Lincoln Riley made a big splash this morning as they landed the number one recruit from the class of 2026, Georgia quarterback Julian Lewis.
USC and Lewis have been in constant communication over the last couple of months, and Lewis didn't waste any time making the decision entering his high school sophomore season.
He chose the Trojans over Alabama, Georgia, Ohio State, and other top college football programs in the nation, who wanted the top prospect.
Lewis spoke to On3 and explained why he wanted to come to Southern California.
“At the end of the day, it is about what Coach Riley does with quarterbacks,” Lewis told On3. “Coach Riley develops quarterbacks, he really knows how to manage the room and he knows how to feature guys at that position. The track record he has with quarterbacks really made a big difference in my recruitment.”

Lewis committed earlier than many other prospects, but with much notoriety that came his way so early, he got a taste of all the schools and knew what he wanted as soon as possible.
This is a big land for the Trojans, and under head coach Lincoln Riley, Lewis will only get better. We've seen it already with guys like Baker Mayfield, Kyler Murray, and first-hand with our very own Caleb Williams. The quarterback whisper strikes again, and we cannot wait to see how Lewis grows and develops under Riley's wing.
This only strengthens USC's 2026 class; we cannot wait to see where it takes them.
Welcome to the Southern California, Julian!
