Bryan Jackson, a three-star running back/athlete prospect out of McKinney High School in Texas, committed to USC on Friday evening. Jackson made the announcement on social media.

Jackson is the nation's 457th ranked prospect in the 2024 class, according to 247Sports.com's composite rankings. He visited USC earlier this month, which seemingly locked in his commitment.

In Jackson's junior season at McKinney, the tailback rushed for 1,647 yards and 23 touchdowns. In addition to USC, Jackson also received scholarship offers from a handful of schools including Baylor, Tennessee and Texas. Trojans running back coach Kiel McDonald has been Jackson's primary recruiter, per 247Sports.com.

Jackson is now the second recruit in USC's 2024 class joining Oregon tight end Joey Olsen.

MORE ADDITIONS COMING SOON?

Expect USC to add players from the transfer portal in the coming days. In a press conference on Thursday, head coach Lincoln Riley said his staff is "certainly going to look at bringing in a guy or two" on the offensive line and that the team is "still in the market certainly on the defensive front."

The three names USC has been linked with this week are Georgia defensive lineman transfer Bear Alexander, Houston offensive lineman transfer Cam'Ron Johnson and Wyoming offensive lineman transfer Emmanuel Pregnon.

Alexander is visiting USC this weekend and Johnson is reportedly down to two schools in his recruitment, USC and Missouri.

The Athletic ranked Alexander as the No. 1 transfer available in the portal. Pregnon is No. 3 and Johnson is No. 5.
