Utah Lands UCLA Tight End Transfer Carsen Ryan

The Utah Utes landed a huge transfer portal commitment at the tight end position
In this story:

On Thursday, the Utah Utes learned that they landed UCLA tight end transfer Carsen Ryan after he took to the app formerly known as Twitter to announce he was returning home.

The addition marks Utah's first transfer that they have brought in so far, and also could be a sign of their plans for life after star tight end Brant Kuithe. That, or the Utes are looking to form one of the best tight end duos that college football has seen.

This past season at UCLA, Ryan, who stands in at 6-foot-4 255 pounds, recorded 13 catches for 205 yards, and three scores. The Orem, Utah product should have a prime opportunity to have a much larger role in Utah's offense which will be led by seventh-year quarterback Cam Rising.

On top of tight end, the Utes still need to add a couple of wide receivers to provide Rising with more weapons in 2024.
