Utah's four athletes with the highest NIL Valuations

NIL has become a major talking point of the college sports scene
In this story:

Over the past couple years the college sports landscape has changed in the sense that it is now one giant business.

College sports were always business-like behind closed doors, but not that athletes are able to profit off of their Name, Image, and Likeness while also having free reign to transfer and be eligible immediately, the business aspect has only been magnified. Some programs heavily rely on using NIL to give them advantages in recruiting, while others aren't as well known for their NIL efforts.

While most people are much more infatuated with the on-field product, seeing what others got going on in their pockets has always been something that interests most. With that being said, let's take a look at Utah's four athletes that according to On3's NIL Valuation are worth the most in terms of NIL deals.

4. Grace McCallum, Gymnastics

National NIL Rank: 500

One of the top gymnasts at the college level, Grace McCallum represented Team USA at the 2020 Olympics where she helped the team win a Silver medal.  She has nearly 420,000 followers on social media, which is more than the other three athletes on this list combined.

3. Lander Barton, Linebacker

National NIL Rank: 441

The former four-star and top-45 recruit made an instant impact as a freshman for the Utes. He was a one-man wrecking crew on defense recording 46 total tackles, eight tackles for a loss, and 4.5 sacks.

2. Cam Rising, Quarterback

On3 Nil Valuation: $228k

National NIL Rank: 330

Rising is one of the most experienced and proven quarterbacks at the college level. He has led the Utes to back-to-back Pac-12 titles and if he is fully healthy to start 2023, which is a question, he may be able to lead Utah to their third conference title and maybe even a playoff berth.

Brant Kuithe, Tight End

Utah Utes tight end Brant Kuithe (80) is tackled after a catch by Southern Utah Thunderbirds linebacker Aubrey Nellems (22) in the first quarter at Rice-Eccles Stadium.

On3 Nil Valuation: $493k

National NIL Rank: 106

Viewed as one of the best tight ends in the country after being named a three-time All-Pac-12 tight end. His season was cut short a year ago due to injury, but with him healthy and ready for the season, Rising will have his favorite target to throw to as Kuithe will terrorize defenses all year.
