15 current members of the Virginia baseball team and nine incoming UVA freshmen are playing in collegiate baseball summer leagues around the country.

Eight current Wahoos are headed to the Cape Cod League, one of the premier collegiate summer leagues that frequently sends players to the major leagues. Three rising juniors - first baseman Ethan Anderson, shortstop Griff O'Ferrall, and right fielder Casey Saucke - are playing for the Harwich Mariners. Three more Cavalier pitchers - Bradley Hodges, Jack O'Connor, and Jay Woolfolk - are playing for the Hyannis Harbor Hawks. Additionally, rising junior pitcher Chase Hungate is playing for the Orleans Firebirds and rising sophomore pitcher Cullen McKay is playing for the Cotuit Kettleers, both in the Cape Cod League in Massachusetts. O'Ferrall and Woolfolk are not with their summer league teams yet, as they are currently playing for the USA Baseball Collegiate National Team in a pair of five-game series against Chinese Taipei and Japan that run through July 12th.

Five incoming Virginia freshmen are playing in the Futures Collegiate Baseball League. Infielders Eric Becker and Antonio Perrotta and pitcher Patrick Menk are playing for the Vermont Lake Monsters, while catcher Mark Gialluisi is suiting up for the Brockton Rox in Massachusetts and outfielder Tommy Roldan is on the roster of the Auburn Doubledays in New York.

After winning the Northwoods League Rawlings "Big Stick" Award last summer, rising junior Anthony Stephan is back for another season with the Kalamazoo Growlers and he is joined by rising sophomore second baseman Henry Godbout. Fellow rising sophomores Harrison Didawick and Luke Hanson are also playing in the Northwoods League for the Wisconsin River Rapids.

Playing for the local Charlottesville Tom Sox is redshirt freshman Aidan Teel as well as incoming UVA first years Jonny Farmelo and Henry Ford. Rising junior pitcher Matthew Buchanan is playing for the Bristol State Liners in the Appalachian League and incoming first year Walker Buchanan is on the roster of the Wellington Colts in the Collegiate League of Palm Beach. Rising sophomore pitcher Evan Blanco is playing for the North Shore Navigators in the New England Collegiate Baseball League and incoming first year Tristan Head is playing for the Newark Pilots in the Perfect Game Summer League.
