4-Star LB Khmori House Commits to Washington

The Huskies secure a commitment from a rising star at linebacker.

There aren't a lot of linebackers who can do everything that the newest Husky commit Khmori House can do. The 6-foot-1, 205-pound product of St. John Bosco in Bellflower, California, has risen steadily over the course of his recruitment process and recently earned his fourth star from On3.

Washington has pushed hard to establish a connection with Bosco, beginning in the class of 2023 when the Huskies secured a commitment from three-star linebacker Deven Bryant. Now, his former running mate has decided to join him again in purple and gold.

It was a hard-fought battle to earn his commitment. House chose the Huskies over 11 other offers. He released a top three of Texas and Auburn along with Washington, but ultimately he decided to stay on the West Coast.

The Huskies have been pushing for some of the best linebackers in California after missing out on in-state four-star linebacker Brayden Platt, and House is a talented addition to the class of 2024. The fact that he thrives in arguably the toughest high school football league in the country, California's Trinity League, just adds to his resumé.

House is an impressive athlete who plays a lot of outside linebacker for the Braves, but will move to inside linebacker at the college level. With his speed and ability to drop into coverage and rush the passer, he'll probably end up being deployed in a similar fashion to Edefuan Ulofoshio.

Co-defensive coordinator William Inge has been working hard to rebuild the depth at the linebacker position through both the transfer portal and on the recruiting trail. This is his biggest win yet on in the high school ranks and House is going to be a solid building block in this class.

I've followed the Huskies for my entire life, and to be in a position where I get to cover them full-time is nothing short of an honor. After graduating from Lasell University in 2019, I moved to Seattle to pursue my dream of working in sports media. While writing for the Husky Haul, I also covered local sports for the Everett Daily Herald before the COVID-19 pandemic. After being hired by Realdawg.com in February of 2021, I also transitioned into doing a lot of entertainment writing, as I work on a variety of magazines as a contributing writer for Centennial Media, and have also contributed to Emmy Magazine, as well as Walt Disney Television Studios.
