ESPN's Matchup Predictor Favors the Opponent in WVU's Remaining Nine Games

No love for the Mountaineers? Not even a game? Not according to the ESPN BPI.

Down, but not out, the West Virginia Mountaineers look to make a run to close out the back half of Big 12 play to position themselves nicely for the conference tournament next month.

WVU enters Saturday's matchup with a 3-6 record in league play, but with a win, they'll be right in the mix with a host of other teams who are floating around .500 in the conference.

The ESPN BPI updated West Virginia's chances to win for each of their final nine games and if the percentages hold true, it's going to be a long, miserable finish to what has been a trying year.

2/10 at Texas - 6.4%

2/12 at TCU - 6.5%

2/17 vs. Baylor - 17.1%

2/20 vs. UCF - 37.3%

2/24 at Iowa State - 2.7%

2/26 at Kansas State - 12.1%

3/2 vs. Texas Tech - 28.4%

3/6 vs. TCU - 27%

3/9 @ Cincinnati - 4.9%

Fortunately, the games aren't simulated by a computer and the BPI has been wrong more than once on this year's team. With the roster finally at full strength, Josh Eilert's squad is chomping at the bit to prove how talented this team is with everyone available.
