Score Predictions for West Virginia at TCU

Our staff picks tonight's game between the Mountaineers and Horned Frogs.

The West Virginia Mountaineers (8-15, 3-7) wrap up a two-game road trip in Ft. Worth (TX) against the TCU Horned Frogs (16-7, 5-5) Monday night. Tip-off is set for 8:00 p.m. EST and the action is streaming on ESPN+.

TCU Preview

Schuyler Callihan: TCU 81, West Virginia 65.

The dark days of the 2023-24 season continue for the Mountaineers tonight in Fort Worth. I thought there was a chance this group, when healthy, could make a little bit of a run but after what I saw on Saturday in Austin, the chances of that happening are slim to none and slim just walked out the door.

I believe we'll see much of the same tonight in that TCU will shoot at a near 40% clip from three, have a +10 margin in the turnover battle, and have their way in the paint. The only way the Mountaineers have a chance of pulling this one off is if TCU is ice cold shooting it and RaeQuan Battle finally has a 15-20-point game.

Give me the Frogs, convincingly.

Christopher Hall: TCU 81, West Virginia 66

West Virginia is winless on the road this season and the cause has been the lack of energy and execution.

The long season filled with adversatity has taken its toll on the Mountaineers and culminated into another lopsided loss on Saturday against Texas.

TCU averages nine steals per game and after the Mountaineers committed 10 first half turnovers versus Texas, my optimism is low that WVU will find any rhythm on offense.

TCU rolls 81-66.
