What the ESPN BPI Says About WVU at Oklahoma State

Absolutely no love for the Mountaineers? Whew, boy.

After pulling off a stunning upset of No. 3 Kansas last Saturday, West Virginia fell back down to earth earlier this week, dropping a game on the road at UCF.

It's been an up and down month for the Mountaineers, who have alternated wins and losses over the past five. Saturday presents their best opportunity to win one on the road - something they've yet to accomplish this season - against Oklahoma State who has yet to win a league game.

According to the ESPN BPI, West Virginia has a 16.6% chance to win while Oklahoma State has an 83.4% chance.

I understand that the Mountaineers haven't looked particularly that great on the road, but this is an Oklahoma State team that is 0-4 on its own floor against high majors - losses to Creighton, Baylor, Kansas, and TCU.

The Cowboys' offense has been the biggest culprit during the current six-game losing skid, averaging 62.6 points per game. They have the tendency to fall in love with the three ball even when it's not working and it has consistently put them in a tough spot. As long as the Mountaineers come out of the gate playing with some intensity, they'll have a chance to collect their eighth win of the season.
