What the ESPN BPI Says About WVU vs. UCF

Will the Mountaineers finally snap out of it and get back in the win column?

Tonight's Big 12 contest will be a battle of teams looking to get off the schneid as West Virginia enters the night on a four-game losing skid while UCF is on a three-gamer. Between the two teams combined, they've lost 17 of their 24 conference games.

According to the ESPN BPI, West Virginia has a 32% chance to win while UCF has a 68% chance. Although it is still considerably low, this is the highest chance the BPI has given WVU entering a game since they played Kansas State at home back on January 9th - a game they would end up losing, 81-67.

When these two met earlier in the year down in Orlando, West Virginia had a rough time on the offensive end, scoring just 11 points in the first 14 minutes of the game. They eventually started to knock down some shots, but not at a high enough clip, shooting just 36% from the field. The Knights went on to win the game 72-59 but unfortunately for them, they've gone 1-5 since.

West Virginia and UCF will tip things off at 7 p.m. EST on ESPNU.
