What the ESPN FPI Says About WVU's Chances Against Baylor

West Virginia is expected to end the regular season with a win.

Neal Brown and his West Virginia Mountaineers look to cap off a strong season with a road win over the Baylor Bears Saturday night. A win would give WVU an 8-4 record which would mark the most wins for the program since 2018.

According to the ESPN FPI, West Virginia has a 72% chance to win while Baylor has a 28% chance.

Last week, the Mountaineers had their way with the Cincinnati Bearcats rushing for a total of 424 yards and five touchdowns. True freshman Jahiem White ran for a career high 201 yards and a score on 21 carries while quarterback Garrett Greene added 154 yards and three touchdowns on the ground.

Coincidentally, Cincinnati is the last team Baylor beat. They've lost four straight games and have allowed 101 points over the past two weeks to Kansas State and TCU. What's the most surprising about this Bears team is that they are 1-6 at home this season with their only win coming against FCS foe, Long Island.
