Allen's Future: NFL or Another Year with the Badgers?
With Allen eligible for the 2024 NFL Draft, there has been plenty of speculation about his future plans. Following Saturday's win over Minnesota, Allen was asked about his future plans and he responded accordingly.
“I don’t know. I don’t know, You’ll find out soon enough,” Allen told reporters.
Allen reflected on the team's aspirations, emphasizing their initial focus on becoming bowl-eligible and then shifting their sights to reclaiming the Axe Trophy.
"As a team, all we wanted a couple of weeks ago was trying to be bowl-eligible,” Allen said. “Once we accomplished that, obviously, that came with the Freedom Trophy, but the next step was the Axe. That was a non-negotiable. We had to leave here with it. To go out like that for the regular season is amazing."
The Bottom Line: Time Will Tell
Braelon Allen's decision on whether to stay at Wisconsin for another year or enter the NFL Draft remains a topic of great anticipation. His outstanding performance against the Minnesota Golden Gophers has only heightened the intrigue around his future. Regardless of his choice, Allen has already made a significant mark on the Wisconsin football program, and his contributions this season will be remembered for years to come.
