Rory McIlory may have won yesterday's British Open but the real winner may have been his father, Gerry, who took home a cool $341,000 after cashing in a 10-year-old bet. Back in 2004, Gerry wagered $683 (at 500-1 odds) that his son would win the Open before the age of 26; he cashed in yesterday.McIlroy received a hearty round of boos during his Claret Jug acceptance speech by reminding everyone he was a Manchester United fan, which didn’t go over well with the hometown Liverpool fans. Andy Milovich, general manager of the Class-A Myrtle Beach Pelicans, has offered to receive a prostate exam while singing Take Me Out to the Ballgame for an upcoming game. ​Yes, you read that correctly. Milovich made the deal with 10-year-old cancer patient Fallon Emery that he'd get the exam during Thursday's game if her Facebook page reached 10,000 “Likes” by noon ET this Thursday. As of Monday morning it was at 8,900.

Megan Fox and Russell Westbrook presented the Best Female Athlete award at the Nickelodeon Kid's Choice Award last week and Fox came down with a case of Westbrook Fever. When asked about the experience, Fox said, "I never got star struck but I got to present with Russell Westbrook and he’s so gorgeous in person I just giggled like an idiot the entire time." Rangers goalie (and Ghostbusters fanatic) Cam Talbot debuted his new Ghostbusters-themed mask on Facebook, complete with images of Bill Murray, Sigourney Weaver, Zuul dog and the famous Stay Puft Marshmallow Man. He also debuted a new nickname -- GoalBuster. Unfortunately for Talbot, he plays behind one of the NHL's top goalies.
