Derek Jeter got a giant mallet and a bucket of crabs from the Orioles
•White Sox Jose Abreu wants to sing the National Anthem
The Baltimore Orioles gave Derek Jeter his oddest farewell gift yet when they presented him with a bucket of Chesapeake Bay crabs, a giant mallet to crack them with and a naval captain's hat.
Nobody in Baltimore is going to let a delicious bushel to crabs go to waste, but Jeter is also unlikely to use his time between innings eating succulent crab meat, so the question that need to be answered is, who got to eat those crabs?

Perishable goods are still better than Baltimore manager Buck Showalter's plan for a going away present for the shortstop.
