Detroit Red Wings players Danny DeKeyser and Luke Glendening gave 20 local children a special Holiday treat on Tuesday, taking them to a local department store for a spending spree.
Through his Hometown Heroes foundation, DeKeyser took 10 children of military members, while Glendening was accompanied by ten children with Down syndrome, five each from two Michigan Down syndrome organizations.

"It’s special to be able to give back and be around these kids and their families is exciting for me," Glendening said. "To know they’re gonna have a good Christmas is special."
