A GM's phone is as important as a player's glove, and during the offseason the contraption never stops ringing. 

Reds GM Walt Jocketty held a press conference with his Tigers counterpart, Dave Dombrowski, to announce pitcher Alfredo Simon had been traded to Detroit. 

Jocketty was in the middle of answering a question when his phone started to ring. Both he and Dombrowski started fishing in their pockets to see who was calling.

Jocketty thought it was another trade partner. No, it was his wife. 

Dombrowski sent his regards.
