Tickets for Thursday's Duke-UConn game were for sale on Groupon
Duke and UConn are two of college basketball's best programs, but New Jersey's Izod Center is one of basketball's worst venues, so tickets for Thursday's game there between the Blue Devils and Huskies were not in high demand.
To try and fill out the arena, tickets were put up for sale on Groupon for more than 50 percent off. More than 80 people purchased tickets and Groupon shut down the deal.
When you think about it, it isn't that shocking some of the 20,000 seats didn't sell. Sure, Duke is 9-0 and ranked second in the AP poll, but UConn is stumbling. The defending champs are 4-3 this season, including a loss to Yale.

It's also a weeknight, which means braving traffic on the New Jersey Turnpike since NJ Transit isn't running trains to the arena that night.
The game is being shown on ESPN, though, so you can just watch it at home.
