Poor Otto

The ACC held its annual mascot basketball game Thursday during halftime of the North Caroina-Louisville quarterfinal with one notable omission -- Otto the Orange. The Syracuse mascot was banned from the game as part of the school's self-imposed postseason ban. The Orange, if you haven't been following, self-reported violations, including extra benefits, academic misconduct, impermissible booster activity and failure to follow its drug testing policy. Coach Jim Boeheim was suspended nine games and the program will lose 12 scholarships over four years.

Will Ferrell's Crazy Day

As discussed on just about every website in the country, Will Ferrell traveled around Arizona Thursday, playing 10 positions for 10 MLB teams in five Cactus League games. I'll have a big gallery in P.M. Clicks, but here are the 10 best moments of the day. I found the publicity stunt part of it kind of annoying, but applaud him for raising money (an estimate $1 million) for college scholarships for cancer survivors. NFL Hall of Famer John Madden wasn't a big fan of Ferrell's big day either while the Angels implored a unique shift in defending the comedian.

If Judge Judy Played Pro Sports

This is how Judge Judy's new $47 million a year salary matches up with the world's highest-paid athletes.

Lovely Lady of the Day

Matt in Manhattan requested some Michelle Keegan photos, which is a great call (click here for full-size gallery).

Ten Really Bad NASCAR Tattoos

These are just as terrible as you'd expect, especially the guy with the reverse tramp stamp. Not sure how this guy missed the cut.

Gilbert Arenas vs. Steve Francis

My new favorite sports feud.

Odds & Ends

The best fictional stadium from movies and television ... Tom Brady and Rory McIlroy spent some quality time together at Augusta ... An oral history of Larry Bird's 60-point game ...Aubrey Huff had some not-so-nice things to say about Pablo Sandoval ... Kate Upton and Justin Verlander went grocery shopping ... Ohio State fans are protesting the NCAA's crop top ban ... Nick Saban had a good showing in the vote for new Alabama student body president ... Great story about a customer leaving a $36 tip on a $30 meal ... Great story about an artist putting Showtime on blast for asking him to work for free.

Mean Tweets With Barack Obama

Turns out people have some not-so-nice things to say about our President.

I always prefer these outtakes videos to the regular videos.

Revenge of the Nerds Trailer

Robert Carradine, better known as Lewis from Revenge of the Nerds, is recovering from a bad car accident in Colorado last week. I love Revenge of the Nerds--I think it's a better movie than Animal House--and I hope he gets better. In the meantime, here's the original trailer for the 1984 movie.
