Pats: 'Deflator' Refers to Weight Loss

The Patriots released a lengthy, annotated rebuttal to the Wells Report today. Regarding the seemingly damning text messages between equipment staffers that used the word "deflator," the team offered up this explanation: "Mr. Jastremski would sometimes work out and bulk up — he is a slender guy and his goal was to get to 200 pounds. Mr. McNally is a big fellow and had the opposite goal: to lose weight. 'Deflate' was a term they used to refer to losing weight."

1) True or not, nobody is buying it. 2) Wouldn't the correct term, in that case, be "deflatee"?

Discovery Channel Trolls Penguins

Much to the delight of Flyers fans, this happened today. That makes the second time in less than 24 hours I've seen a company troll a hockey team for no good reason. What a world we live in. Can't even learn about zoo animals or get liquor delivery anymore without worrying about whether it jibes with your rooting interests.
