The Riley Curry Show
The Warriors eliminated the Rockets and Riley Curry stole the show, both after the game and in the press conference. The game had its physical moments, including Dwight Howard elbowing Andre Iguodala in the throat and Klay Thompson taking a flying knee to the head from Trevor Ariza. James Harden struggled throughout and set a playoff turnover record. The victory left former Warriors coach Mark Jackson choked up and Lil B trying to make himself relevant with his dumb 'stirring the pot' dance. Did I mention Riley Curry is cute?
FIFA Scandal Fallout
The investigation into FIFA's shadiness began in 2010, when Bill Clinton lobbied for the U.S. to host the World Cup but was denied in favor of tiny Qatar. Five years later, top FIFA officials were arrested at the crack of dawn in their five-star hotel (read this N.Y. Times piece for all the arrest details). Unsurprisingly, Vladimir Putin thinks the U.S. should stop meddling in FIFA's affairs, though he should be mad at the official who blew the whistle (and had a $6,000/month apartment for his cats). The story is still developing so check our soccer page for the latest details.
