George Steinbrenner flipped Kevin Millar the bird after the 2003 ALCS
Kevin Millar tells a hilarious story about the time George Steinbrenner flipped off the Red Sox team bus after the 2003 ALCS.
Just when you think you've heard every story about The Boss, you hear another.
According to former Red Sox first baseman Kevin Millar, shortly after Aaron Boone homered to win Game 7 of the 2003 ALCS, George Steinbrenner showed Boston's team bus double middle-fingers.
Millar, now an analyst for MLB Network, was a guest on the Dan Patrick Show Tuesday morning and recalled the now humorous event.
"You look back on it now, it's hilarious," said Millar. "Back then? I think we all wanted to jump out and choke somebody out."
Now we know why the Yankees blew that 3–0 series lead in 2004.
