This all went off the rails pretty quickly.

The NBA on TNT crew has been a lot of fun so far during the playoffs but things went a little off the rails after the Lakers’ Game 5 loss to the Warriors on Wednesday night when Charles Barkley and Shaquille O’Neal appeared to be laughing about Anthony Davis and how he had to leave the game with a head injury.

Davis caught a Kevon Looney elbow to his head under the basket and immediately looked woozy before heading to the bench. TNT later reported he left the sidelines on a wheelchair.

That was the part that seemed to set Shaq and Barkley off. In the clip below you see them laughing so hard they can barely speak and then Barkley makes a joke about Kenny Smith doing a wheelchair motion with his hands, which Smith denied.

At that point Ernie Johnson seemed to have had enough and said, “Man, guys. Come on now.”

Here’s how that played out:

After the game, Lakers coach Darvin Ham said that Davis “seems to be doing really good already” after the injury. Hopefully he is O.K. and will be back in the lineup for Game 6 on Friday.
