Watch: Jim Petersen's Thanasis Antetokounmpo roast as Wolves hammer Bucks
The Wolves players on the court Thursday night were not the only members of the Timberwolves organization roasting the Bucks.
With just over six minutes left in Thursday's game, and the Wolves up 114-91, Timberwolves TV analyst Jim Petersen took no prisoners when he noted the pending entrance of Thanasis Antetokounmpo.
"The white flag is being waved," Petersen noted on the Bally Sports North broadcast.
"Why do you say that, Jim Pete?" asked Wolves play-by-play man Michael Grady.
"Because Thanasis is getting ready to come into the game," quipped Petersen.
Six seconds of dead-air followed in which we can only assume the broadcast duo had turned off their mics as they chuckled to themselves. You can enjoy the clip below ...
The 31-year-old forward is the older brother of two-time MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo. Thanasis is averaging a whopping 0.8 points per game for the 33-19 Bucks this season.
Thanasis did however score two points in the blowout but also pulled off a play that might be more at home on the Washington Generals.
After a disappointing 129-123 overtime loss to the Bulls Tuesday, the Wolves obliterated the Eastern Conference contender in a 129-105 win in Milwaukee.
