A pair of SEC West rivals meet at Death Valley this weekend as Auburn hits the road against defending division champion, No. 22 ranked LSU in college football's Week 7 action on Saturday.

LSU improved to 4-2 overall and 3-1 in SEC play after taking down Missouri on the road last weekend, thanks to Jayden Daniels' late-game heroics and a dramatic pick-six to secure the victory.

Auburn was off last week, but played Georgia tough at home the weekend prior in a 7-point loss, falling to 3-2 overall and 0-2 in SEC games, and hoping it can secure what would be the first conference win for new head coach Hugh Freeze.

College Football Power Index

Football Power Index (FPI) college football rankings and computer prediction model are a measure of team strength that predicts a team’s future performance.

Rankings and scores predictions are based on 20,000 simulations of a team’s season and games, using a combination of key analytics, including scores to date, quality of opponents, team talent, recruiting, and a team’s schedule.

Teams are ranked not in order of talent like in other rankings, but by a projected point margin per game against an average team on a neutral field.
