AP top 25 biggest movers
Oregon State (Down 5). A loss on the road to Washington State knocks the Beavers down a few spots this week.
Ole Miss (Down 5). Likewise for the Rebels, whose potent offense was slowed down in a loss at Alabama. Lane Kiffin still can't get the GOAT.
Washington State (Up 5). The Cougars have one of the most productive attacks in college football behind gunslinger Cameron Ward.
Kansas (Was unranked). For the first time since 1913, the Jayhawks started two straight seasons at 4-0.
USC (Down 3). A win at Arizona State looked a little close for comfort at times behind another sloppy defensive showing.
Ohio State (Up 2). The scarlet and gray covered the longest yard as time wore down at Notre Dame to stay perfect.
Notre Dame (Down 2). Sam Hartman led two key scoring drives to take a lead over the Buckeyes, but the defense couldn't hold in the final seconds.
Fresno State (Was unranked). The Bulldogs are 4-0 and boast two wins on the road against Power Five opposition (Purdue, Arizona State).
Missouri (Was unranked). Also at 4-0 and with a win over a then-ranked K-State two weeks ago, the Tigers finally made the top 25.
