Coaches Poll top 25: Sooners fall, Kansas jumps in college football rankings for Week 10
It's that time of year when losses matter a lot more as we close out the month of October, sort the wheat from the chaff in the conference races, and prepare for the CFP selection committee to release its first rankings of the season. Where does that leave things in this week's other college football rankings?
- Five ranked teams lost on Saturday, including No. 6 Oklahoma in a shocker at unranked Kansas
- Utah had no answer for Oregon as its 18-game home win streak was snapped
- North Carolina dropped a second straight, this time to Georgia Tech
- Louisville moved further into ACC contention by taking down Duke

Coaches Poll biggest movers
North Carolina (Down 8). The Tar Heels dropped a second straight game to an unranked ACC opponent after Georgia Tech came back in the fourth quarter.
Kansas (Up 15). The Jayhawks made a statement by jumping out to a big lead over OU and then coming back to finish the job late.
Oregon State (Down 7). A loss on the road against unranked Arizona has the Beavers clinging to any vestige of Pac-12 title contention.
UCLA (Up 4). The Bruins overcame some costly turnovers to take down Colorado at home.
Tennessee (Up 4). A big win at Kentucky keeps the Vols in the SEC East title chase but big games are still to come on the schedule.
