Coaches Poll top 25: Alabama, Tennessee fall in Week 4 college football rankings
It's always those Saturdays when you think nothing will happen when a lot happens. That was the case across the country with some upsets and close calls involving marquee teams. Now, as we look ahead to a bombshell weekend of football to come, it's time to update this week's top 25 college football rankings.
Where we left off: Week 3 Coaches Poll
Florida State survived an injury scare involving quarterback Jordan Travis and a late rally by Boston College in a two-point nail-biter, while defending champ Georgia made a statement in a come-from-behind victory in the SEC opener, and Florida took down a ranked Tennessee, which still hasn't won in the Swamp in 20 years.
But all that drama was just an overture to what may happen in the next seven days. Where do things stand as we move into a hugely consequential Week 4 slate? Here's your look at the latest top 25 rankings, according to the coaches' vote.

Better luck next time
No. 15 Kansas State. The defending Big 12 champions are out of these rankings this week after a last-second loss on the road against unranked Missouri.
Coaches Poll top 25 biggest movers
Tennessee (Down 11). The Vols still haven't won in the Swamp since 2003 after taking a loss against an unranked Florida with this offense still a work in progress.
Alabama (Down 2). Sure, it was a win for the Crimson Tide against USF, but one of the ugliest games of the Nick Saban era and with plenty of questions going forward.
Ole Miss (Up 3). The Rebels have scored 100 second-half points this season and are coming off a win over Georgia Tech heading into the Alabama game.
