Reactions pour in after sudden death of college football player Jaden Hullaby
Jaden Hullaby, a former college football player at Texas and New Mexico, was found dead this week after being reported missing by his family. Both schools confirmed that he had died after his uncle said Hullaby had been missing since late last week.
Texas football reacted to the tragedy through a statement released by Longhorns head football coach Steve Sarkisian.
"It's such devastating and tragic news to hear of Jaden's passing," Sarkisian said.
"He was a great person and someone we all enjoyed being around, coaching, and spending time with. All of our thoughts are with his family, friends, and teammates, and we want to send our deepest condolences to them in such a difficult time."

A native of Dallas, Tex., Hullaby played in two games for the Longhorns program during the 2020 football season.
He transferred to New Mexico in the 2022 season, compiling 59 rushing yards on 13 attempts and catching two passes for 44 yards with the Lobos.
New Mexico also paid tribute to the player.
"The Lobo family is saddened to learn of the passing of former RB/TE Jaden Hullaby," the school said in a statement. "Our thoughts and prayers go out to Jaden's family and all who knew him."
No details have been released surrounding the circumstance of Hullaby's death. He was 21 years old.
