After Elly De La Cruz stole the show on Friday night, the Atlanta Braves rebounded on Saturday afternoon to beat the Cincinnati Reds, 7-6.

With that win, the Braves halted the Reds 12-game winning streak, making a little fun team history in doing so.

Per ESPN Stats & Info:

The Braves bounce back to snap the Reds' 12-game win streak today. That's the longest single-season win streak snapped by the Braves since the team moved to Atlanta in 1966.

It was a good bounceback win for Atlanta in a series that has been one of the most fun in all of baseball this season.

Seven of the nine Braves starters recorded hits in the win with five of them recording multiple hits. Travis d'Arnaud, Ozzie Albies, Matt Olson and Marcell Ozuna each hit homers in the win.

The victory moved the Braves to 49-27 on the season. They have the best record in the National League and lead the National League East by 6.0 games over the Miami Marlins. The Braves are seen by many as a World Series favorite because of their unique blend of power and speed on the offensive side.

The Braves also have elite pitching, but Max Fried and Kyle Wright are on the injured list, so it should get even better when they return this season.

The Braves and Reds wrap up their series on Sunday afternoon at 1:40 p.m. ET. Charlie Morton pitches for Atlanta while the Reds have not named a starter yet as of this posting. Ben Lively was supposed to go, but he was put on the injured list.
