It's hard to keep track of all the history related to the Los Angeles Angels right now.

On Monday, the Angels beat the Chicago White Sox, 2-1, to make unique history. Then, starting pitcher Reid Detmers made history with his dominant performance on the mound.

And Shohei Ohtani also hit a home run in that victory, putting him in an exclusive club in baseball history with regards to his offensive performance.

Per ESPN Stats & Info:

Shohei Ohtani is the 6th player in AL/NL history to record 90 hits, 25 HR and 10 stolen bases through the month of June. Of the previous 5 players, 3 went on to win MVP that season.

And with multiple days still left in the month, Ohtani has time to add further to his elite totals.

The left-handed power hitter is hitting .297 this year with 26 homers and 62 RBI. He's stolen 11 bases as well. His home run and RBI totals both lead all of baseball.

His home run on Monday went 446 feet. His season OPS currently sits at 1.009.

Lifetime, he's a .271 hitter with 153 homers and 404 RBI. He hit a career-high 46 homers in 2021 when he won the American League MVP and is on pace to beat that this year.

Of course, when you talk about Ohtani, you aren't just talking about hitting. The most gifted player of our generation, he's also 6-3 on the mound with a 3.13 ERA. He's struck out 117 batters in 89 innings.

The Angels are 43-36 and currently battling in the American League wild card race. They are trying to make the playoffs for the first time since 2013.
