Milwaukee Brewers Starter Wade Miley Out Up to Two Months with Injury

The news just goes from bad to worse for the Milwaukee Brewers when it comes to the starting rotation. The team is already out Brandon Woodruff because of injury and now could be without lefty Wade Miley for up to two months.
Miley left his most recent start early with a lat issue, but it turns out that it's worse than feared.

From the article on MLBTradeRumors:
The posterior serratus muscle is on the back, roughly at the bottom of the ribcage. As relayed by Adam McCalvy of MLB.com, it’s rare for a baseball player to strain this muscle, which means the Brewers are putting some guesswork into this recovery timeline.
Miley has been a nice piece for Milwaukee this season, going 3-2 with a 3.67 ERA over eight starts.
It's been an interesting career for Miley, who has bounced around quite a bit. He's 102-96 for his career with a 4.12 ERA. He's pitched for the Diamondbacks (four years), Red Sox (one year), Mariners (0.5 years), Orioles (1.5 years), Brewers (2 total years), Astros (one year), Reds (two years) and Cubs (one year).
The injury to Miley is yet another long-term injury to a starting pitcher this season. Robbie Ray is out for the season for the Mariners, the Yankees haven't gotten anything from Carlos Rodon or Frankie Montas, the A's are now without young star Mason Miller, the Astros are down Luis Garcia and Jose Urquidy and the Royals are out Kris Bubic, just to name a few.
The Brewers will take on the Rays on Saturday at 4:10 p.m. ET.
