Two positive New York Yankees injury updates in one day? In this economy?

Just hours after the Yankees provided a positive update on the health of star Aaron Judge, they also gave good updates on the status on Josh Donaldson and Giancarlo Stanton.

Yankees reporter Bryan Hoch put out the Tweet:

"Josh Donaldson will ramp up baseball activities during the Yankees' upcoming homestand, and could soon begin a new Minor League rehab assignment. Aaron Boone said that Giancarlo Stanton is also doing well, but he's not as close as Donaldson."

Donaldson has been out since early April after suffering a hamstring injury

Donaldson, 37, is in his second season with the Yankees after being acquired in a trade last year with the Minnesota Twins. He hit .222 last year for Yankees in 132 games. For his career, he's a .264 hitter with a .361 on-base percentage. He's spent time with the Oakland Athletics, Toronto Blue Jays and Atlanta Braves, in addition to the Twins and Yankees.

He won the MVP in 2015 with Toronto, is a three-time all-star and has won two Silver Slugger awards.

He's in the final year of a four-year, $92 million dollar contract that he signed with the Minnesota Twins before the 2020 season. He was traded to the Yankees before the 2022 season.

Stanton injured his left hamstring in mid-April and was originally projected to be out for 4-6 weeks.

The 33-year-old Stanton is a five-time all-star, a two-time silver slugger, a home run derby champion and he won the National League MVP in 2017 with the Marlins.

For his career, he's a .264 hitter with 382 home runs. He pairs with Aaron Judge to make one of the most dangerous home run duos in the entire sport.

For this season, he's out to a .269 start with four home runs.
