It's not just Jackson Chourio, but Milwaukee Brewers prospect Sal Frelick is also hitting really well in the minor leagues and could be on the verge of a promotion soon.

In this story:

Earlier this week, we wrote about the hot streak that Milwaukee Brewers prospect Jackson Chourio is on at Double-A.

But for Milwaukee, the hard-hitting outfield prospects don't stop there: Sal Frelick is also raking currently at Triple-A.

The following update comes from the Rotowire fantasy baseball portal:

Frelick went 8-for-17 (.471) with a home run, two doubles, eight RBI, two stolen bases and a 2:0 BB:K over his last four games with Triple-A Nashville.

ANALYSIS
Frelick was pretty quiet over the first half of July, but he made all kinds of noise in recent days and racked up six RBI alone in Thursday's contest. His .683 OPS on the season does not stand out, but that can partly be attributed to a thumb injury, which he seems to have finally moved past. He remains one of the better prospects in baseball, and the Brewers may give him a shot at the big-league level before the season comes to a close.

The Brewers are currently in first place in the National League Central so any contributions from him could help aid them in their quest for the playoffs.

He is currently the No. 17 prospect in baseball, and the No. 2 prospect for Milwaukee.

The following comes from his MLB.com prospect profile:

The former (Boston College) Eagle has shown stellar plate discipline dating back to his college days, and with a short left-handed swing, he can turn on pitches in any spot of the zone. Those bat-to-ball skills come in handy for a player with plus-plus speed, and Frelick can beat out infield dribblers or pick up extra bases on balls to the gaps. That last part is important because, while Frelick is fairly strong for his size, he hasn’t shown power yet, and he may not have the over-the-fence pop to challenge for 15 homers when he reaches the Majors.
