The Atlanta Braves will play the Dominican Republic National Team Wednesday at 1:05 p.m. ET in an exhibition game at the Braves' spring training home, CoolToday Park in North Port, Florida.

Team Dominican Republic has a star-studded roster of Major League stars, including Rafael Devers, Julio Rodriguez and Manny Machado. Houston Astros star Cristian Javier will start in the club's first exhibition game, as it prepares for the World Baseball Classic. Team Dominican Republic will play another exhibition game Thursday against the Minnesota Twins at Hammond Stadium in Fort Myers, Florida.

Team Dominican Republic will play its first WBC game Saturday against Team Venezuela in Miami, Florida. Monday afternoon, Team Dominican Republic will play Nicaragua.

Minor leaguer Dylan Dodd will start for the Braves Wednesday, facing the Dominican Republic's potent lineup. Dodd, 24, was selected in the third round of the 2021 MLB Draft out of Southeast Missouri State University. Dodd posted a 3.36 ERA across Triple-A, Double-A and High-A ball in 2022.
