Chicago Cubs' Starting Lineup, Pitcher for Game Friday vs. Texas Rangers

The Chicago Cubs announced their starting lineup for Friday's game at Wrigley Field at 2:20 p.m. ET against the Texas Rangers.
Through their first two series of the 2023 season, the Cubs are 2-3 and trying for their first series win of the year. The Cubs lost two of three at Wrigley to the Milwaukee Brewers to open the season last weekend. Then, the club split two games with the Cincinnati Reds at the Great American Ballpark earlier this week. The series was originally scheduled to be a three-game series, but Wednesday's game was postponed to September 1 due to inclement weather.
Friday, Cubs manager David Ross will give the ball to Opening Day starter Marcus Stroman, who has yet to allow a run this season, through his first start.
The Cubs will take on veteran Nathan Eovaldi, who signed a two-year contract to join the Rangers' rotation over the winter. The Rangers are off to a 4-2 start, having swept the reigning National League champion Philadelphia Phillies to open the season.
Here's a look at how the Cubs will line up Friday against the Rangers:
1) 2B Nico Hoerner
2) SS Dansby Swanson
3) LF Ian Happ
4) CF Cody Bellinger
5) DH Trey Mancini
6) 3B Patrick Wisdom
7) 1B Eric Hosmer
8) RF Miles Mastrobuoni
9) C Tucker Barnhart
SP Marcus Stroman
