The Seattle Mariners posted a clever Twitter graphic Sunday afternoon, featuring catcher Cal Raleigh and pitcher Logan Gilbert, recreating the classic movie poster from the 2008 Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly comedy 'Step Brothers'.

The image featured a tagline from the original movie poster which reads, 'They grow up so fast.'

Below the 'Step Brothers' text, reads a sub-headline that says, 'From the guys who helped Break The Drought.'

The Mariners ended their 21-year postseason drought last season, when a late Raleigh home run helped the M's punch their ticket to their first American League playoffs since 2001. In that same game, Gilbert pitched a career-high eight innings.

The Mariners would go on to sweep the Toronto Blue Jays at the Rogers Centre in Toronto in the American League Wild Card Series, securing their first postseason victory since 2001, when the club won 116 games.

The Mariners led their AL West rival Houston Astros in both Game 1 and Game 2 of the AL Wild Card Series, but lost both games. The Mariners pushed the Astros to 18 innings in a closeout Game 3, but Jeremy Pena hit a walk-off home run, and the Astros swept the Mariners.

The Mariners had an active offseason, adding infielders Kolten Wong and Tommy La Stella and outfielder Teoscar Hernandez to an already potent lineup. The club hopes to take the next step forward in 2023 and win its first AL West division title since 2001. In their 46 year history, the Mariners have never won an American League Pennant.
