Last week, MLB Network released its programming schedule for the 2023 Major League Baseball season. It is the 14th season since MLB Network launched in early 2009.

There are some notable changes to the network's programming this season. The first is that Stephen Nelson will no longer cohost Intentional Talk with Kevin Millar. Nelson stepped in to the role left behind by Chris Rose, who departed from MLB Network following 2020. Rose now hosts the popular podcast, The Chris Rose Rotation, on Jomboy Media. Nelson will now broadcast Los Angeles Dodgers games. Ryan Dempster and Siera Santos will now join Millar on Intentional Talk, in place of Nelson.

MLB Network will also introduce a new edition of MLB Tonight at 6:00 p.m. ET, cohosted by Harold Reynolds and Adnan Virk. The program will function like a pregame show, before each night's slate of games begins.

Pregame Spread, a sports betting show that was introduced in 2022, will not return for a second season, at least not on a daily basis. The new MLB Tonight pregame show will assume its place.

Off Base, hosted by Lauren Gardner, will return for its second season. MLB Central, High Heat, MLB Now, MLB Tonight and Quick Pitch have all become staples of the network, and each show will return in 2023.
