That didn't take long!

Just days after we told you that Aaron Judge tied the record for the most home runs ever by a Yankee against the Toronto Blue Jays, he decided to break the record.

Judge homered off of Jose Berrios in the top of the first inning for his 32nd career home run off of Blue Jays pitching. He had been tied atop the leaderboard with Jorge Posada at 31.

Per ESPN Stats & Info:

Aaron Judge's 1st-inning home run was his 32nd career HR against the Blue Jays, breaking a tie with Jorge Posada for the most by a Yankees player vs the Blue Jays all-time.

Judge went 2-4 on the night as the Yankees won 4-2. He had two RBIs while Anthony Volpe had one and Aaron Hicks had one.

For the season, Judge is hitting .279 with 12 homers and 28 RBI. Lifetime, he's a .283 hitter with 232 homers and 525 RBI.

Judge won the American League MVP in 2022 when he hit 62 home runs and drove in 131. He's also won the Rookie of the Year (2017) and a home run derby title. He's a three-time Silver Slugger and a four-time All-Star selection.

The Yankees will open up a series with the Cincinnati Reds on Friday night. The good news for the Yankees in this series is that starting pitcher Luis Severino will make his season debut on Sunday morning at 11:35 a.m. ET.

He had been out all season with a lat issue.
