Starting Lineups, Pitchers for New York Mets vs. Los Angeles Dodgers Game Monday
The New York Mets (10-6) will open a three-game series against the Los Angeles Dodgers (8-8) Monday night at 10:10 p.m. ET at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, California.
It is the first meeting between the two teams in 2023. The Mets and Dodgers impressed in 2023, with Los Angeles winning a franchise-record 111 games. The Mets led the National League East division for much of the season, but surrendered their lead to the Atlanta Braves in the final days of the regular season, as the Braves went on to win their fifth straight NL East division title. Both the Dodgers and the Mets exited early from last year's National League playoffs. The Dodgers fell to the San Diego Padres in the National League Division Series in four games. The Mets were unable to get out of the NL Wild Card round, losing to the Padres in three games.
David Peterson (0-2, 4.91 ERA) will take the mound for the Mets Monday night. Dustin May (1-1, 1.47 ERA) will start for the Dodgers.
