Starting Lineups, Pitchers for Phillies vs. Yankees Game Monday

The Philadelphia Phillies will open a three-game series against the New York Yankees Monday night at Yankee Stadium in the Bronx at 7:07 p.m. ET. Nestor Cortes will start for the Yankees, with Taijuan Walker making his first start for the Phillies after signing a free agent contract with the club over the winter. The Philadelphia Phillies will open a three-game series against the New York Yankees Monday night at Yankee Stadium in the Bronx at 7:07 p.m. ET.

The Phillies are looking to pick up their first win of the season, after being swept by the Texas Rangers in three games in the club's opening series of the 2023 Major League Baseball season.

The Yankees took two of three from the San Francisco Giants over the weekend, putting them at 2-1, in second place in the American League East, behind the Tampa Bay Rays.

Taijuan Walker will make his first start as a member of the Phillies, after signing a free agent contract with the club over the winter. Nestor Cortes will take the mound for the Yankees, coming off the first All-Star season of his career in 2022.
