The Seattle Mariners will wrap up a three-game series against the Chicago Cubs at Wrigley Field Wednesday afternoon at 1:20 p.m. ET.

The Mariners are trying to salvage the last game of their road trip to the Midwest and keep the Cubs from sweeping them. The Cubs are trying for their first sweep of the season. The Mariners have not been swept yet this year, but are off to a slow start, entering play Wednesday at 4-8.

Logan Gilbert (0-1, 3.60 ERA) will take the mound Wednesday for the Mariners. Opening Day starter Marcus Stroman (2-0, 0.00 ERA) will make his third start of the season for the Cubs. Stroman has yet to allow a run in 2023.
