Starting Lineups, Pitchers for St. Louis Cardinals vs. Colorado Rockies Game Wednesday
The St. Louis Cardinals will play the final game of their three-game series at Coors Field against the Colorado Rockies Wednesday afternoon at 3:10 p.m. ET.
The series tied at one game a piece, after the Cardinals took game two on Tuesday night, picking up a 9-6 victory over the Rockies.
Both teams are under .500 and would love a series victory. The Rockies enter Wednesday standing at 5-7, in last place in a tight National League West. The Rockies are two games back of the division-lead. The Arizona Diamondbacks and San Diego Padres enter Wednesday tied for first place, with both teams standing at 7-5.
The Cardinals were heavy favorites to repeat as National League Central champions entering the season, but have gotten off to a slow start. The Cardinals enter Wednesday in last place of the National League Central, at 4-7. Four games back of first place already, the club could use a series win Wednesday.
Jack Flaherty (1-1, 1.80 ERA) will make his third start of the 2023 season for the Cardinals on their getaway day. Jose Urena (0-2, 14.40 ERA) will take the mound for Bud Black's Rockies.
